Blue-winged Kookburra

This Kingfisher is slightly smaller than the Laughing Kookaburra and is mainly found in the Northern regions of Queensland, Northern Territory and Western Australia. Its wings have much more blue in them, his head and beak are larger. Lives in wooded areas, but is very shy and cannot be seen as often as its cousin, which does not mind staring at you from close up.
