Sacred Kingfisher

This Kingfisher is slightly bigger than the Azure version. Like the Kookaburra, it also lives away from water in the forest, but occasionally ventures to water’s edge to catch fish. Otherwise, it is satisfied with small invertebrates and lizards. It is found everywhere over a much wide area of Australia, except the deserts of Western Australia.
