György Járos
György Járos
György Járos was born in Budapest Hungary, and lived in South Africa for 37 years. He studied Electrical Engineering and Physiology and taught medical students for 50 years. In 1995 he settled in Australia.
Right through his life, he experimented with drawing and watercolours in repeated spurts but started digital art in 2020 when his family gave him an iPad with a painting program. He painted mainly still life, landscapes and animals. The last two years, he concentrated on birds, mainly from Australia and South Africa, principally to enjoy the process of creating a representative image of each bird from which a bird lover can identify the species, finishing over 500 birds.
Dennis Blanch inspired him to revise some of his paintings to make artworks that people would hang on their walls. He is planning to upgrade all of his sketches in this style. If you have a favourite bird and would like to see an image of it in my present style, he is very willing to paint the requested image, of course, without any obligation. You can get in touch with him through this website.
