Denise Painter

Denise is an Australian collage artist and decoupeur, now living in Lake Macquarie moving from Sydney in 2019. Denise is known for her earlier work using decoupage to create beautiful works which have won many prizes. More recently Denise is known for her colourful, detailed collages using a variety of images, and techniques to complete her designs. Colour features strongly in her works along with using interesting images and materials. Her works are considered bordering on the abstract with a hint of surrealism. It is often said of her work, apart from the riot of colour, there is always something new to be discovered.
